Climate change is already influencing the properties of the champagnes. The evolving aromatic profiles of chardonnay – the signature grape variety for the Blanc de Blancs, symbolising the aromatic freshness at the heart of Ruinart champagnes – have led the Maison to adapt its winemaking expertise. The result is a new cuvée, Ruinart Blanc Singulier. This wine reveals a new, singular expression of chardonnay that bears witness to a changing climate in the Champagne region.
